Sick - Giveaway!

Monkey and I are currently under the weather. The urgent care verdict this morning was influenza b for both of us with an extra side of pneumonia for me. The Sarge has been delegated the task of taking care of us while we spend our days and nights soaking up the steam from hot showers, trying to be humidified, encouraging the powers of breastmilk to work their magic, and dreaming of the day we will feel good again!

So while we're doing that, how about a giveaway?

Amazon is amazing... it's as simple as that!

The Details:
This giveaway is for a $25 e-gift card good on Amazon.com.
It will be delivered to the winners email after the giveaway is over

Go to remedies - long, hot steamy shower, followed by cuddling under blankets on the couch watching Lifetime.

We sit in a steamy bathroom, use a natural chest rub like Winter Wonder Balm or a few key essential oils in a carrier oil. I wholly recommend lots of vitamin c for mom and non-infants, as well as garlic and ginger tea with honey and lemon, thyme tea, and elderberry flower syrup. Homeopathics and an echinacea and goldenseal herbal remedy also help (no goldenseal if you are pregnant)-- they make these herbal remedies in a formula suitable for infants and children as well.

I know you said or, but I think donating the gift card is a wonderful idea. It's a hard choice, but I would choose Kari's family solely because I know there are books to help children and parents navigate and heal from such a devastating loss.

It has been quite an emotional week for you guys. I hope the two of you feel better soon!

I would donate to Mason's family, because I buried my grandmother the same day they put little Mason to rest... and whether young or old, the loss of a loved one is SO hard to bear... Peace to their family...

My go-to remedies when my kids are sick are letting them lay in bed while i read them a book. i pamper them. i also give them a little bit of medicine and make sure they're comfy cozy, so they get the rest they need to feel better.

Emilie is a bit too little to have go to remedies yet. We do a lot of cuddling and sitting in the bathroom with steam.

My go to remedy when I'm sick is to take a few meds, sit in a hot bath and sleep it off.
